J BEAL Sorrowful yet enticing: it's low-key / restrained manner gives the vocals a high priority; outweighing the restful instruments - allowing you to pay credence to the lyrics.

With a smooth and silky voice, she retains attention, commanding respect ― I've listened to this album many times and upon each listen, I've loved each experience. Favorite track: The Flow.

buffuku dark jazz.
sombre, yet very sexy.

Michael Keerdo-Dawson Melanie De Biasio is fast becoming my favourite discovery this year; of her three original albums, this one in particular is a smokey masterpiece filled with understated attitude and delicately balanced instrumentation. It's also addictive, of my recent music purchases I have come back to this one most frequently. I hesitate to use the word 'sexy' in a review -it's overused and usually a trite way of saying 'excellent' - but in this case the word sexy fits perfectly. You'll see what I mean. Favorite track: No Deal.

Mubla Na Thguob No need for an in depth review when the music speaks for itself. Wonderful vocal jazz best played after midnight. Favorite track: Sweet Darling Pain.

Ed Buckley In a dimly lit piano bar, where the blues fades into jazz, we listen to a sultry voiced chanteuse seduce us with sad tunes. These pieces are so wonderfully understated, both in the vocals and the minimalist accompaniment. This is sooooo well done. Listen to this late at night, with a drink, as you nurse your lonely heart. You can feel these tunes ache. Found on Thibaut Devigne's page, I extend many thanks, as I would have never found it otherwise.. :-) Favorite track: I'm Gonna Leave You.

Thibaut Devigne Some very nice dark vocal jazz here. Always evoque a sort of dim club with melancholic people to me, but sound is great, and the album is generally genuinely good. Favorite track: The Flow.
